Kontor Records have created a ‘promo’ turntable for servicing the newest Boris Dlugosch EP (badass release btw).

The aim was to get the record into the hands of Agency Creative Directors and played – something CDs just weren’t doing. The label wanted to keep it real by sharing something tangible, what better than vinyl?

… but what if the office didn’t have a turntable?

Kontor cleverly included a fold out replica Technics 1200 turntable that worked with all smart phones that can read QR codes. It also didn’t mean additional apps, brilliant thinking!

With the vinyl playing users were also given the option to move through tracks on the vinyl with a digital arm and also visit Kontor’s video channel to watch any/all music videos and content.

Kontor Records is home to Tiesto, ATB and Scooter while calling Hamburg home.
