Mazde spills heart with emotionally charged single Gone

After taking a necessary break from full time music to complete his university study in the sleepy town of Darmstadt in Germany, Mazde is now back for good and has found his voice as a singer/songwriter.

Gone is as exhilarating as it is nostalgic, capturing emotion from personal experiences through the lyrics and permeating passion with his imaginative musical composition. It’s the second single from his forthcoming debut album, with the first single being Vital Signs and featuring Australia’s very own Lisa Mitchell.

‘It’s a melancholic love song that speaks about past relationships and the trials and tribulations I’ve experienced and that all humans experience.’

The single demonstrates Mazde’s growth from his identity as a future bass pioneer to an artist who deftly unveils the contrasting tones of beauty and earnestness in pop music. Out now on Buttermilk.
