Flume has rolled out a blistering remix of British artist Danny L Harle and his track “On A Mountain” taken from his recent ‘Harlecore’ LP.

Danny L Harle might not be a familiar name with audiences in Australia but has been on a mission to reinvent a wash of lesser coined electronic genres. He’s taken things like garage, gabber, hardstyle and trance and collided them with a re-imagined pop sound. He’s earned accolades for genre-splicing alongside PC Music peer SOPHIE and has worked alongside Nile Rodgers, Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Carly Rae Jepsen and more.

As one of Australia’s biggest electronic exports, it seems like Flume has seen exactly what Danny L Harle, often self-dubbed as DJ Danny is doing and jumped on board for a remix. Is it any good? Fuck yeah, it is.

Taking an already oozing bed of electronic nourishment comes Flumes stabbing interpretation taking an already brilliant original and making it even better. The drums, vocals, legit everything you’d want in a remix.
