SebastiAn remixes Metallica into chunky French electro banger

You know those musical moments you didn’t know you needed until they landed in your lap? Case in point French electro slayer SebastiAn remixing metal pioneers Metallica.

Those wondering about the name should dive into Metallica’s ‘Blacklist’ 10th-anniversary compilation, which features over 50 artists that have taken on various tracks from the bands ‘Black’ album.

More specifically is SebastiAn’s mashup of sorts, taking ‘Don’t Tread On Me” and “Nothing Else Matters” while also adding some very chunky French chords and eventually, iconic ‘tiAn goodness on the home stretch.

Who would have thought they would pair so well with James Hetfield’s vocals?

Other non-metal artists on the compilation include St Vincent, Elton John, Chase & Status and The Neptunes. Again, we don’t quite get how SebastiAn was the only dance/electronic artist to get his hands on Metallica stems but we’re here for it!

The last time we heard from SebastiAn was his ‘Thirst’ album in 2019 that featured 17 exceptionally well-produced tracks.
