Daft Punk rumoured to be collaborating with Coldplay

Some keen Italian Coldplay fans have been doing some hard core investigating into the bands upcoming album. Really to the point where they are theorising on album names, number of tracks, track names and more.

An interesting piece of information to emerge from Coldplay’s Italian ultra supporters is, they believe Daft Punk features on one of Coldplay’s new tracks on a supposed new album. In a recent update on the fan page, the post states that the 5th track will be a track titled ‘A.B.O.R.T’ featuring the French electronic duo and the album is likely to be out around November time.

This fan theory wouldn’t surprise us, with the duo famous for tracks including ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ having previously been open to collaborating with Pharrell Williams, helping Aussie band Parcels and more. What can we expect? Well Coldplay are pretty damn well known for their kind of minor key sad ballads, so maybe Daft Punk will deliver a similar vibe in some sort of electronic sounding form.

Here are 6 very forgettable Daft Punk tracks.
