Premiere: Sydney’s MKSelektors hit hard with debut EP ‘Nordschleife’

Sydney two-piece MKSelektors have shared their debut EP, ‘Nordschleife’.

Out today via Finer Things Records, this two-track EP is an impressive and unique take on house music that takes the listener on a sonic journey. The first and title track from the project, ‘Nordschleife’ is a 7-minute effort that floats through an almost ambient array of lo-fi instrumentation before we’re hit with a dreamy, vocal driven drop. The tracks were both produced with the intention to listen to while driving long windy roads late at night.

From here, the EP moves into a more groove-centric tone with ‘ハチロク ‘ (AE86). Maintaining their house-driven, lo-fi soundscapes, this 10-minute endurance cut is the perfect tool for a mid-set, dance-floor charge.
