George FitzGerald shares dreamy collab ahead of Friday’s album

Words by Mickaela Lee

Following last week’s collaboration with dance music veteran Bonobo, George FitzGerald proves to us of his effortless transition from DJ playing tracks for club consumption to prodigious composition god, gracing us with a tune to soothe the mind, body and soul.

Today the London based producer shares with us ‘Nobody But You’ feat. Hudson Scott, ahead of the release of his new album, ‘All That Must Be’, this Friday March 9.

As if specifically chosen to be released at the beginning of Pieces season, the track seems to act as window into a full circle of personal events. FitzGerald seeks to simulate uncanny emotions as the single manifests itself as a typical dance tune through a fresh vibe of his hallmark synth grooves yet subtly evokes power through driving bass lines, accompanied by a reverberate of vocals by friend, Hudson Scott.

For a taste of these rare skills at work, tune into Mixmag Lab this Saturday 10th March from 4am AEST, but to be transported into a psychological realm and to immerse yourself in the deep vortex of finely textured electronica, stay tuned as FitzGerald will be visiting Australia next month for a couple intimate shows that are not to be missed.

For now, listen to his latest offering below and check the Aus tour dates.
