You may not know it yet, but the New Zealand beat scene is making serious grounds.

Largely spurring out of the Bassment crew – a collective out of Auckland run by the forward thinking producer/coordinator Katana – the up-rising scene is one that boasts the more melancholic, trap-infused spectrum of electronica, with artists such as T1R, HAAN808 and Montell2099 among others at the forefront of this movement.

We took a closer look into the ever-growing beat scene coming out of New Zealand this week, and have zeroed in on 15 producers you should get familiar with right now.
