Have a geez at Pioneer’s fancy new DDJ-1000 controller

Pioneer has unveiled the details of the DDJ-1000, which is a new four – channel DJ controller, optimised for the use of rekordbox dj’s most recent updates.

The new features include high definition LCD screens, featured on the jog wheels, displaying BPM, waveform, track time and cue points. The deck also includes a brand new feature, for all those lazy DJs out there which help you choose the next track, aptly named ‘Related Tracks’.

Also featured are 14 Beat FX, 16 multi highlighted Performance Pads which can be used to start loops, samples, key shift and more. Not to mention an upgraded Magvel-Fader, making it easier to perfect those sweet, sweet transitions.

The layout is based off Pioneer’s widely acclaimed  CDJ and DJM equipment, making it easier for bedroom DJs to take their game to the club level without having to master a new piece of equipment.

The DDJ-1000 will set you back €1,199 (somewhere between $1800-1900 AUD). It will be available to buy this month in Europe but no word as of yet on when it will reach our shores here down under.

Cop the full specs here. Has Pioneer missed anything important on this?
