Fresh off the back of her debut album ‘ISON’ earlier this year, rising Iranian-Dutch superstar Sevdaliza announces her debut Australian tour for 2018.
FBi Radio and i-D AUNZ, together with Paradise, Mellum and Collarts have scheduled the art-pop visionary to perform across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart this January.
Exploring concepts of past lives, human emotions and notions of the self, Sevdaliza creates music to draw attention to, and raise awareness of political and world issues. One of her latest tracks ‘Bebin’, was influenced by Donald Trump’s executive order, which bans immigrants and refugees from entering the country. ‘Bebin’, meaning ‘to look’ in Farsi, and proceeds from the track will be ‘immediately transferred towards funds supporting victims of racial exclusion’.
