Russian DJ and scene-leader Nina Kraviz is throwing quite the event with a party for her label трип to be showcased. After taking over a volcanic cave in Iceland, but her next destination is in Helsinki, Finland, in a water tower which stands 150-ft tall.

The building is shaped like a giant UFO, and almost looks like a super-villain headquarters head office. It’s size is nothing short of confronting, but Kraviz has her eyes on the prize. The event seems very, very intimate, as only 150 tickets were available for the Helsinki tower. Clearly this wasn’t an easy grab to get yourself a spot in here. But if you’re afraid of heights, you’re closely surrounded so hopefully that can ease you up.
It commences at 6pm, and will proceed to be continued at the Ääniwalli club starting from 11pm. No line-up has yet to be announced, and we’re not sure how many vids are going to get up on youtube from this event. BBC radio 1 will hold her Essential Mix for the event this Saturday, making a long-waited appearance after her 2012 debut.
