It goes without saying that Cardi B‘s ‘Bodak Yellow’ is one of the hardest tracks for 2017. Some might even take this as enough reason to avoid remixing it, but that is NOT how Mr. Carmack does business.

The Hawaiian producer has just stepped over the 300,000 follower mark on SoundCloud, and in doing so decided to unearth the remix alongside NYC beatsmith Promnite, one that does not go easy on the bass.

SoundCloud surprises are nothing out of the ordinary for Carmack, with the bloke dishing up 54 new tunes earlier in the year, because, you know, why not.

His rework of ‘Bodak Yellow’ upholds much of Cardi B’s vocals but sees Carmack lay down some quirky instrumental twists and an unforgiving bass line that breathes new life into the popular tune.
