Italian techno label run by Dj Tennis started by changing the landscape of deep house and are now revolutionizing what a label showcase even means. Armed with more than a few influential friends across the globe, Tennis is consistently risen the bar curating event experience of an intimate nature. From the dust of the playa, the sands of South Beach, and the streets of Berlin, Life and Death delivers immersive affairs in electronic evolution.
Next up, the crew head to a place that feels like home to many. The annual pilgrimage to Amsterdam has become the final dance for each summer as a fall wind down to the season. As Amsterdam Dance Event brings together the best and brightest, Tennis and the team hold court among techno’s elite. Jackmaster, Jennifer Cardini, Honey Soundsystem, Marvin & Guy, Red Axes, Gerd Janson and many more will join DJ Tennis at Thuishaven on October 20th.
Following the summer send off, the label meets again in an iconic South Florida match up December 9. Colliding with good friend and Berlin’s deep house mayor Dixon, this super showcase stacks Innervisions and Life and Death beachside. Dubbed Rakastella or ‘To Make Love’ in Finnish, the two label team up with a few Miami vets to serve up an oceanfront soiree for the region’s legendary scene.
As far as a showcases go, this party is sure to offer a widescreen window into the unique musical world of Life And Death.
