The Next Generation Of Bass Music As Selected By QUIX

New Zealand selector QUIX is something of a veteran in the bass music scene, building his rep up over a number of years jumping all over the globe bringing with him a heaving selections of trap infused cuts.

On top of this, this guy is well known for having his ear firmly planted on the ground; injecting a strong amount of up-and-coming artists tracks into his sets that raise eyebrows as quickly as they pull out the Shazam.

So with a show coming up this Friday at The MET in Brisbane, we thought we’d get in early and find out exactly which artists he is looking too as the next generation of bass music.

Here are the five faces of bass music’s future, as selected by QUIX.

Sumthin Sumthin

This guy has seriously been making some moves. Hoping onto UZ’s new label “Quailty Goods Records” he’s a definite favorite of mine and he always has a few tracks in my live sets for sure! Make sure you check out his tracks Elsewhere and Bloom!

CARBIN

Talk about content… this guy is sitting on A LOT of unreleased heaters! I discovered Carbin on my recent north american tour and got to meet him at Middlelands. He is easily an artist that is about to blow up and make his mark in the EDM world.

AVANCE

Making big moves out of Perth, Australia! AVANCE is definitely on the come up with his slower/darker trappy beats. We actually have a track together we made a while ago and are planning to release later on this year! You’ll be hearing a lot more of AVANCE from now on no doubt!

LUUDE

Another monster from Perth, Australia killing the scene with his latest banger “La De Da” which is easily building his following around the globe. LUUDE is most likely about to find himself touring North America as he continues to unleash his diverse trappy sound! Also I’m close to playing a show with LUUDE in a couple of weeks!

Yvng Jalapeño

Mr. Jalapeño has been on my watch list for a while. He just released a remix of my very own “Riot Call” which is spreading like wildfire! Not only are his productions killing it right now, but his live sets are always something to never miss! He’s definitely on the rise with his unreleased content too; serious heat he is sitting on!
