Tottenham MC Skepta has raised £30,000 to fight homelessness in the UK.

The popular Grime figure played a special gig alongside A$AP Rocky at the Islington assembly hall, where he raised an impressive amount of money – nearly $50,000AUD to be exact – for the Shelter.

While on stage, Skepta addressed the crowd in saying:

“We’re all here for a good cause and a good reason, and that’s to support Shelter to end homelessness….Thank you to everyone for being here. Every penny goes to a good cause. Tonight is about all of us being together. This is about us all giving back. Everyone should give back.”
