This Cheap Synth Could Make Music Production A Lot Easier

For those of us who produce music, both as a hobby or as a career, you know that it is not cheap. There is always new studio equipment being released, and keeping up to date can cost a bomb as prices tend to rise. Capitalism at it’s best, right?

Well, German tech company called Behringer is going against that trend this year, and has built a crucial studio component that is just $49USD. The DeepMind12 synthesizer is the brainchild of Uli Behringer, who spawned this idea as a way to make music production a more affordable hobby/lifestyle.

The synth is yet to be released, however for 50-bucks this absolute steal is sure to sell quick so keep an eye on Behringer’s website for updates and further info. Here is hoping other companies jump on board with this trend!
