Premiere: Eclectic Sydney Artist William. Releases Debut EP

Local Sydney talent William Crocombe a.k.a William. has been kind enough to bless us with his debut EP ‘(fullstop.)’.

Garnering much attention for his powerful and energetic live performances, the EP has not disappointed, bringing everything we have come to know and love about the man behind the W. Making inroads in the Sydney underground music scene William. recently played to a sold out crowd at Sydney’s the Wall, creating palpable tension around his first release.

The EP comprises of three tracks which are uniquely independent of one another. The first offering from the EP is a dark, slow brooding number aptly titled ‘LATENIGHTTHOUGHTS’. The track is comprised of a crunchy drawn out baseline, coupled with melodic hard and rounded kicks. The lush yet sinister strings that underlie the score gives the feeling of insomnia and an inability to sleep. Perfect for those slow 4 a.m. vibes.

The second track from the EP, ‘COLD. W/ RADII’ is more upbeat and features cut up melodic vocals that are contrasted by the raw, almost tribal kick that is sure to get any crowd jumping.

The third and final track from (fullstop.), ‘FIENDING’ is something straight from Hudson Mowhawke’s back catalogue. Covered in glitches, clicks and pops, and with a punchy bass, this track follows ‘COLD. W/ RADII’ in that it is seemingly impossible to keep still to.

Listen to the full EP. below and get those shoes laced up and ready for jumping!
