Korg Are Re-Releasing A Classic Synth

Words by Harrison Kefford

This one’s dedicated to all those production tech nerds out there, with news Korg is set to breathe new life into the one of the most famed synths of all time, a holy grail you could say, the ARP Odyssey Synth.

Feeling a little wet yet, well just gather yourself for a moment as news overnight surfaced that Japanese company Korg is set to release a full-size, limited edition remake of the revered synthesizer in February this year. Made in the USA just like it’s original format, the ARP Odyssey FS duophonic synth will come in three limited designs: Rev1, 2 or 3.

Priced at $1600 (pffftt price don’t matter), the Japanese company promises that it’s remake will achieve the same level of “quality, sound and spirit of the original” as the original synth did way back in 1972.

Peep the hype video below and start gettng keen!
