Remember how excited you were when you found out Jamiroquai were releasing a new album this year? Well time to further that excitement level with the first taste of the new record, the title track ‘Automaton’.

The music video was dropped out of the blue last night, just under two months ahead of the set release date for the album. The track is a clunky, distorted piece that garners a spooky sci-fi tone that is quite unlike anything from the group in the past.

Visually, the themes are much the same, with the video portraying lead singer Jay Kay drifting through a dark, futuristic setting with a neon head-piece that is nothing short of amazing.
