Jacques Greene Announces Debut Album ‘Feel Infinite’

Words by Harry McAuley

Eclectic-house producer Jacques Greene has announced the release of his debut LP, ‘Feel Infinite’.

The record is the product of six years of work with the Glasgow based LuckyMe label, who have described it as “a record both about the club and for the club… that straddles modern and analogue house, techno and garage to pull out some of the pathos of modern youth”.

The much-anticipated release will feature eleven tracks, including a collaboration piece with LA soul-man, Tom Krell (How To Dress Well) . With three singles from the LP already out, it is clear that ‘Feel Infinite’ will traverse a broad spectrum of dance and house music.

‘Real Time’ is a classic nu-wave club track featuring a heady vocal loop pumped up by a funky soulful bass line and a straight house rhythm (think Kaytranada meets MCDE), while deeper techno hooks and melodic percussion sections drive Afterglow and ‘You Can’t Deny’. The hypnotic female vocals on all three tracks are a unifying feature that we can only hope extends through the LP.

‘Feel Infinite’ will be available on March 10 through the LuckyMe label. Pre-orders in all formats are available through the LuckyMe website.
