Subsonic Loses Two Internationals But Gains Another

Ahead of the kickoff in only a little over a day’s time, Subsonic Music Festival have announced that two of their major international headliners will sadly no longer be able to attend.

London’s drum and bass master Goldie and Detroit techno veteran DJ Bone have both bowed out of this year’s festival. Goldie referenced “circumstances beyond my control and the need for me to be with my family”, while DJ Bone blamed “the actions/inactions of others who appear to have been the source of [other tour related] misunderstandings.”

Subsonic have been quick to remedy the issue however, quickly filling the void the two have left behind with another huge international – Move D. Having just played Strawberry Fields over the weekend and already appearing at Subsonic in 2014, he seems like an obvious and excellent choice for a replacement.

Crazily enough, tickets are still available for this weekend’s festivities. It’s going down in Monkerai – just a few hours North-West of Sydney – from Friday the 2nd till Sunday the 4th of December. Check Subsonic’s full explanation of the lineup changes below and set times here.
