To say the least, Sydney dude Enschway has been absolutely killing it recently. His tracks have been getting played in sets by some of the world’s biggest acts like RL Grime and What So Not, he’s just been signed to Sweat It Out!, and today he’s releasing the second volume of his ‘Friendschway’ series. Strength to strength to strength.
In case you’re unfamiliar, the ‘Friendschway’ volumes are essentially Enschway EPs chock full of tracks where he’s collaborated with other rising stars. Volume 2 sees Kuren, Turquoise Prince, Crystalize, Austen, graves and O5CAR all stepping up to the plate, and delivering tracks that also impart the sounds they’ve come to be known for. It’s a perfect mix of perfectly constructed builds, and absolute insanity. The drops and synths getting used throughout this release are so consistently unpredictable and new. It’s these moments that make you realize why there’s such a buzz around Enschway. He’s doing whatever he wants and really pushing boundaries on a sound that can often times sound a bit dated and overdone. That’s not the case here though, this all sounds fresh.
Big ups dude, and even bigger things coming from you soon no doubt.
