Check Out Obama’s White House Turntable Set-Up

It’s no secret that US President Barack Obama is a big music lover. Remember the stacked playlist he shared back in August? Well we can now confirm that Obama is also a vinyl head, after flaunting his turntable set-up in a recent Architectural Digest exclusive.

Thanks to some keen eyes on Reddit, we can confirm the deck is a Denon DP-300F (goes for about $329USD), described by What Hi-Fi as a “fully automatic turntable with an MM cartridge and a built-in phono stage”, which is connected to what looks like a set of wireless Bluetooth Kanto YU5s.

Check it out below:

Not too shabby right?

The best part of all this is the criticism that came from Reddit users concerning POTUS’ set-up. One user was concerned as to who was “going to be the guy to email the president and let him know he shouldn’t have the speakers and subwoofer sitting on the same table as his record player?”.

Are you jealous of Obama’s music station? Which albums do you think he frequents the most on that crisp turntable?
