Boiler Room To Launch First Virtual Reality Music Venue

Global music broadcasters Boiler Room are diving into virtual reality, announcing the first VR music venue is in the works.

The globally recognised electronic music connoisseurs have teamed up with leading VR company Inception to create the next step of interaction for their large and growing viewership, by building a virtual reality live music venue that anyone from anywhere can enter and be apart of.

Just imagine it, instead of simply viewing a DJ set in a separate tab on Chrome you will actually be able to enter the scenario. Sitting at home doing next-to-nothing just got a whole lot better!

In a press release, Boiler Room CEO Blaise Bellville says “Most of Boiler Room’s audience is made up of global online users who tune in to watch music events they can’t attend in person. We’ve always been driven by using technology to showcase the music we care about in the most authentic way we can.”

The project is still in the works and is set to launch next year. How good!?!

For now, lets revisit a Boiler Room classic.
