German duo M.A.N.D.Y (Patrick Bodmer & Philipp Jung) have announced their debut album is set for release this November.
After an impressive 16-year career, the word of their debut album comes with both surprise and relief for us fans, and after chopping the track list down from 50 songs to 12 including a new version of their 2005 collaborative effort ‘Body Language‘ with Booka Shade, their carefully crafted LP couldn’t come quick enough.
Speaking on the album, Jung says “Of course we had the idea to make an official M.A.N.D.Y. album a long time ago, but we did not want a stapled-together snapshot. After all, we were and are on the road worldwide pretty much constantly. So the endeavour took a little bit longer than expected”.
Bodmer adds that “In a career, it’s expected to release a long-format as soon as possible. For us, it was not the most important thing in the universe!”
The LP, titled Double Fantasy, is set for release on November 11. Get keen.
