Your Wednesday evening just got a whole lot bloody better.

After a teaser that got our hearts beating at a worrying pace, Mall Grab‘s groove-heavy ‘Workers union’ remix of ‘Dance Freak’ by Pelvis is here.

For those unaware, Pelvis is a collective that throw parties in Sydney and Melbourne, and are taste makers in both the music and fashion world. If you go out a fair bit and haven’t seen ‘PELVIS’ and ‘SERVE’ with a naughty illustration on the back of a shirt then you’re looking at your own reflection to much and need to stop stressing about how you look. You look fine.

You know what else is fine? This remix. The track takes a real 90’s tone with some bouncy, eclectic instrumental work that drowns the low-strung vocal sample with the help of a thumping bass line that will get even the worst irregular heartbeat back in sync. It’s a good time to be had.

The remix is part of Pelvis’ new ‘Dance Freak’, project, which you can preview right here. Pelvis folk will be launching their EP with two shin-digs later this month, the first in Melbourne followed by one in Sydney. Be sure to get around it. And Sydney-siders, Mall Grab will be performing as well.
