Moving Castle has graced us with a new release, Kid Froopy’s ‘BB (Four Missed Texts)’ which is expected to be the DJ collectives last track for the summer.

The Moving Castle family has wrapped their arms around the 26 year old and harnessed the natural flare that he has already been laid before us. His 2015 remix of founder Robokid’s “Helix” racked up almost 40,000 SoundCloud hits—among them, one from Robokid himself.. He also counts Beats 1′s Anna Lunoe and Fool’s Gold—which just released a Froopy remix of Hoodboi’s “Closer”—among his fans. Not too shabby!

Pleasingly, this latest release will not fall short of the ever growing expectation on the man himself. It crystallises his skill set and creates a nostalgic throw back with bright synth driven melodies.  There in an undeniable funk, driving throughout the tune and keeps us intrigued. To add to charm, Kid Froopy plays over 6 instruments and has an incredible ability to layer and pitch his vocal to perfection, which in this track draws on a R&B esq. sultry feel. Respect.
