Flume has taken to Facebook today announcing a new EP along with a preview of what is to come.

As what will be his first “Skin Companion EP”, Flume explains that the forthcoming project will be a vinyl release, and is set for  release in November.

The announcement comes as no real surprise after a recent interview revealed how he has grown “bored” with his latest album, Skin, and that he has new music on the way.

However, we certainly didn’t expect to see anything this fast.

In his post, Flume says: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the support you guys have shown for Skin over the past few months and I wanted to share some more music that was written around the same time.

The first Skin Companion EP is a 12″ of songs we are releasing in November. It will be available on vinyl at lots of great indie record stores around the world – Rough Trade, Phonica, Turntable Lab, Oye, Amoeba, Juno, Boomkat, Red Eye and many more.”
