The Prodigy’s ‘The Fat Of The Land’ Album Just Turned 19-Years-Old!

So the other day we shared an article on Fedde Le Grand’s ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit’ for reaching it’s first decade of life. Nostalgia was at an all time high, and so was the realisation that we’re all getting older.

Well, to top that once more, it has come to our attention that The Prodigy’s ‘The Fat Of The Land’ album has just turned the wise age of 19.

The Prodigy took to Facebook last night, sharing the vintage album cover for the project, that is now 2-decades old. Hard to believe it has been early 2o years? ‘The Fat Of The Land’ was the third studio album from the English mob, and host to classic tracks such as “Smack My Bitch Up”, “Firestarter” and “Breathe” that are still as much of a gee up now as they were back then.

The album was released officially on June 30, 1997, on XL Records.

While we’re on the topic of The Prodigy, lets get nostalgic once again to the soothing tune of ‘Smack My Bitch Up’.
