Eric Estornel, better known as Maceo Plex, will tomorrow be performing a record breaking passion project for the most DJ sets in one day.

The Ellum Audio label-head announced the project last week, setting the date for July 26 where he is set to perform a total of 10 sets throughout Ibiza within 24-hours.

On top of this, he has added that each set will be a different genre of music to represent the different landscapes of Ibiza. Despite the record breaking factor of Mosaic By Maceo, he is trying to keep the focus off breaking records, stating in a recent Facebook post that “the idea is to create a musical and visual Mosaic of the various Ibiza landscapes, and not in any way an attempt to break any records.”

Maceo Plex’s effort will be the second major DJ related world record in the past few months, following Nigerian DJ Obi‘s recently set record for longest DJ set (ten full days!).
