One of the greatest house musicians of our time, Larry Heard, is breaking his 12 year hiatus of performing and coming to our shores for the first time ever.
Larry Heard is one of house music’s timeless legends – producing some of the biggest tracks of the 1980’s which are still very present in DJ sets across the globe. Under a number of aliases, Larry Heard’s Mr. Fingers is arguably his most notable, bringing rich mid-tempo deep house across all of his releases.
After a large break from performing shows, he is finally back, and we couldn’t be happier. Hitting only two shows in our country, you’re going to have to be quick to nab tickets. He stops off in Sydney first for the RBMA Weekender for a lecture (you can find the event here), before heading down to Melbourne to play in the historic setting of Melbourne Town Hall, co-headlining alongside Italian ambient producer Gaussian Curve, presented by Animals Dancing and Crown Ruler (event here). After, he’ll be heading back to Sydney to close the RBMA Weekender with a headlining 3+hr set at Carriageworks (event here). Full dates below.
