Justice vs Simian’s ‘We Are Your Friends’ Just Turned 10 Years Old!

Arguably one of the most cherished dance music anthems in the history of the entire universe, ‘We Are Your Friends’ has just reached double digits.

The Justice rework of the Simian original – which aside from the chorus sounds nothing at all like the more popular Justice flip – was the founding track from the two Parisian dudes, kick-staring what would become one of the most prominent names in the dance music realm.

Interestingly enough, the original remix of ‘Never Be Alone’ was knocked back remix for a local radio competition and was later picked up by Busy P’s Ed Banger records which is when things got serious.

Ya snooze ya looze, and Ed Banger were well awake!

The track (with it’s equally as compelling film clip that portrays a very dusty bunch of party goers, including the aforementioned Busy P) saw Justice receive the Best Video award at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards and from there, the conquering began.

Watch, remember, be swallowed by feels but most importantly enjoy the ‘We Are your Friends’ official film clip below!

Below is the original track by Simian, released back in 2003. 13-years ago!
