Crankdat delivers a massive re-work of Joyryde’s ‘The Box’

Earlier this year JOYRYDE shared his new track ‘The Box’ which was released in May. This popular thumping tech-house tune with a trap drop in the middle got a massive dubstep re-work from Crankdat and it sounds HUGE! If you were ever a fan of Datsik or Excision back in the day then you will definitely like what Crankdat has to offer.

Crankdat strives to bring back that hard-hitting drum sound with sharp electronic snares and growling, metallic bass lines. With the catchy phrase line ‘What’s in the f*cking box’ that gets chopped up and brought in here and there throughout the tune, this re-work definitely makes its own statement in the dubstep scene. The arppegiated synths in the intro and breakdowns give the song a sense of serenity and a bit of a spooky feeling before coming back with another a heavy drop.

You can catch Crankdat on tour in your local city! And be sure to have a listen to his re-work of ‘The Box’.
