Strawberry Fields drop first round line-up for 2016!

Strawberry Fields has grown to become an absolute staple Australian festival in the 8 years since it was conceived and with their first round line-up released, it’s not hard to see why!

The Murray River town of Tocumwal will play host to a massive bunch of heavy hitters from around the globe. Acts like Berlin resident George Fitzgerald, Japanese guns Kuniyuki & DJ So, Detroit legends UR DJ Assault Squad will be among so many others.

The festival looks to diversify a little this year, with two new music areas launching in August, one featuring live music spanning neo soul, hip hop, jazz and reggae, as well as another featuring the best of Australian progressive trance.

The four day bush doof/festival has announced there will be a plethora of carefully-curated sounds, world class décor, eclectic market stalls, art installations as well as workshops and a whole lot of love.

With early birds and first release having sold out within the hour tix will undoubtedly be a toughie to grab, so make sure you’re around.

If you’re still not sure what you’re in for check out our coverage of it from last year here and make sure to check the full line-up and tell us who you’d like to see on the next announcement!
