The godfather of experimental music, Aphex Twin, is back at it, hinting at a forthcoming EP on the horizon.

The EP is titled Cheetah, and has been the subject of some obscure marketing across UK record stores over the past few days, with flyers and poster popping up all over the place that have taken the murmurs of a new project global very quickly.

The advertisement (pictured below) reads “New Product Information”, and depicts an in-depth description of the upcoming EP that is more of an article than a bio.

“The Aphex Twin Cheetah EP uses digital sound generation techniques combined with wave sequencing technology to bring you sounds with movement and depth rarely found on records today.”

The EP will be  the follow up of Aphex Twin’s 2014 LP Syro, which was the first project in 13 years from the London producer.

There is no word of release for Cheetah thus far, however knowing Aphex Twin, it could drop tomorrow or in a year. Check out the flyer below!
