Amazon is launching it’s own music streaming service

Amazon has recently announced that they are jumping on the online streaming band wagon.

The global market place will be in tough company, facing up against the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, SoundCloud Go, Deezer, Rhapsody/Napster and Guvera. They will be charging $9.99 a month and will pair with their new product, the Amazon Echo, which is a voice activated speaker.

Sources have told Reuters that Amazon is currently in licensing negotiations with labels and other music rights-holders, with an official release planned in the coming months.

Do you think Amazon are making the right move or are they too late to the music streaming party?
