From blowing away crowds at the infamous Panorama Bar in Berlin, Sub Club in Glasgow, as well as fabric in London, Marquis Hawkes is set to grace our shores later on this month, thanks to the guys over at Heads with Tales.

Marquis Hawkes rarely participates in photoshoots or interviews, choosing to do so in order to be judged purely on his music production and track selection in his DJ sets – a technique which seems to be working. With a string of 12″ releases for labels such as Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Clone, Aus, and Houndtooth, Hawkes’ production encompasses everything from soulful vocal cut-ups to jacking drum-machine jams.
