Grimes teams up with Microsoft for an interactive exhibit at Moogfest

In 2016 it’s fair enough to say that music is becoming increasingly more a visual experience and Grimes is jumping on the bandwagon. Grimes has announced a new project, an interactive musical installation appropriately called REALiTi: Inside the Music of Grimes as part of California’s, Moogfest.

The installation is set to Grimes’ track, yep you guessed it, ‘REALiTi’ off her recent album Art Angels. According to the press release visitors can “manipulate their surroundings as they explore an ever-evolving world”.

The installation has been created by Microsoft and it uses Kinect motion sensing technology so that the visuals and music respond to movement.

Unless you’re travelling to Cali in the coming week all we’ll get to see is a trailer, at least for now.
