Klingande In Tune For 2016

Klingande threw his first pool party in South Beach where we caught up with the French melodic house producer as the party kicked off. Known for his live-infused shows, he took a break from touring in January and February before setting the tone for another year of crystallizing appearances alongside live acts honing the pitch.

“For me I always tour with a musician, I never do a dj set alone, for me it’s good to be able to give the audience a new experience; something different than what they are used and to listening to. I think in the future we are going to be able to see djs with bands,” adding that, “I think it brings something really more human to the set, or like me, I know when I’m going to see a dj and there’s a musician with them, I think it’s more interesting.”

This year you can expect more touring with a little more time set aside for production filled with brassy virtuoso.

“I stopped touring since January and February, so I was able to work on a lot of new music. Now I’m going back on tour but I decided to tour a little less to have a more time during the week to work on my music. I mean I really love touring like every day but I want to be able to do more music at the same time.”

There are also a few singles in the works without any rush into an album.

“I don’t have a date so I’m just going single by single and then after that I’m going to release the album but I can’t tell you how many songs. I’m just going to see it when it’s going to be ready, and when I will be like ‘OK now it’s time to make an album’ because I have a lot of songs working together to make an album and if I don’t see any cohesion I’m not going release an album; it needs to tell a story, if it doesn’t, there is no story, if it’s just singer by singer, it’s not really interesting.”
