Canadian electronic legend and dance music pioneer never ceases to amaze. His unique blend of technological prowess and entrancing minimal techno have built a brand unmatched in class and quality. After pushing the limits of event production the his massive Enter series, the past year has seen a whirlwind of new project Rich. Following a nationwide college tour featuring talks about technology and electronic production, he’s getting his hand dirty testing new gear in the best places possible.

Last night the innovator kicked off the Prototypes tour presented by Play Differently. In partnership with iconic hardware brand Allen & Heath, Richie and British product developer Andy Rigby-Jones have taken on a huge endeavor in the world of DJ gear. The pair have been in the lab for the past year combining their expertise and unique vision to create new innovative instruments for the electronic music market.

In true creator fashion, there’s no better way to test the limits of a product than putting is deep into it’s intended environment. Stopping at emblematic dance venues such as Spybar Chicago, Output NYC, and Watergate Berlin is just the beginning.  In order to work out all the kinks, Richie will take his new mixer to the big stage at both Movement and Awakenings Festival to round off the tour. You can basically guarantee that this mixer will hold is down in any environment. Who’s gonna grab one once it’s out?
