Matthew Herbert Played A Set With Records Made Out Of Vegetables

If you’re one of those people who cannot and will not ever understand how a vinyl plays music, you might want to hold onto your brain while you read this. Matthew Herbert played a live set with laser-etched food. Yes food, like cheese, eggplant, ham, onion and potato.

This mind blowing and hilarious performance was commissioned by Science Gallery London at King’s College as part of FED UP: The Future of Food, a project bringing issues surrounding food nutrition and waste to the spotlight.

So far, there is no video footage of the event – which sucks, I know – but luckily we have a handful of photos which provide the entertainment.
