Massive Attack share Chilling Video for ‘Voodoo In My Blood’

Massive Attack have just shared the film clip for ‘Voodoo In My Blood’ featuring Young Fathers.

The video – directed by Ringan Lewidge – is another dark, confronting yet beautifully made film clip from Massive Attack, that channels similar themes as seen in their video for ‘Take It There’, which dropped last month.

Much like the aforementioned video, the film clip for ‘Voodoo In My Blood’ sees the protagonist played by a popular film star, this time it is Gone Girl‘s Rosamund Pike .

Throughout the clip we witness Pike nervously pace through an empty tunnel, then fall under a controlling spell by a floating orb (similar to ‘343 Guilty Spark’ in the Halo video games) which leads her to an intense, almost confronting array of body spasms.

Obscure it may be, it certainly matches the thrilling intensity of the song, and is remarkably produced.

‘Voodoo In My Blood’ is a cut from Massive Attack’s ‘Ritual Spirit’ EP, which is available from iTunes here.
