Lefto is in Australia, playing a string of shows throughout the backend of the Summer!

The Brussel’s based producer kicked off his tour last week, and we were able to pick his brain to find out what his favourite songs to suit the Summer are.

“5 summer tracks, it’s so hard, but I’ll try, from experiences I’ve had during summer nights…”

“…it’s hard to describe a why but coming from a hip hop background I just found myself playing a lot of original samples and that’s where Kool & The Gang, Isley Brothers and Patrice Rushen come in.  I don’t think these songs need an introduction as from the moment you play the song you’ll understand why these songs would fit in a summer tracklist.

As for Kendrick and Disclosure, they’ve been summer anthems, songs that the crowd knows by heart and sing it along, creates a vibe, makes people smile, you know…”
