Online Clique PC Music Acquired By Major Label

Mysterious electronic label PC Music has announced their partnership with global label Columbia Records for a string of new releases.

The current specifics of the deal have as of yet not been revealed, with PC Music simply announcing via their Facebook page that they have now inked a deal with the Sony giant. They explain that their “new, perfect breed of major label” will promise to deliver faster production, and a “multi-tier attack exposing the radical DNA of chart music.”

The announcement is huge for the small, cyber-culture inspired collective, having only been founded 2 years ago and not one physical release under its belt thus far.

At first encounter, one would not expect the illusive cyber-pop faction to be paired with the “truly ancient industry legend.” Yet, upon closer inspection, this type of relationship was always on the horizon. That is, PC Music as of late have begun to drift from their experimental origins, and progressed to a more accessible genre of music, seen through singles like QT’s “Hey QT”.

The first release under the newly expanded label will be Danny L Harle and his EP Broken Flowers.

A single song has since been released from the upcoming effort; titled Forever. The future-bass esque track partners ethereal and high- pitched vocals, creating a feel-good (and very kawaii) pop song. The EP in full will be releasing from PC Music on November 20th.
