Zephyr are a London based label and collective, boasting a roster of budding beat scene producers from around the world, featuring a new wave of producers including Comodo, West1ne, Creepa & Instupendo among others. Their first compilation clearly draws influence from Mr Carmack, Herzeloyde, and Sam Gellaitry.

The slow, yet hard hitting drawl of Instupendo; the ode to Sam Gellaitry that Creepa & Comodo create; and the jazzy-meets-808 style of Oxthello’s “Alone” bring much needed diversity to the release.

With the vast number of Soundcloud labels emerging, its becoming increasingly more difficult to develop a presence amongst the online community. Zephyr will undoubtedly overcome this issue, with the quality of their first release enough to carry their weight amid the top dogs.
