Following his burner of a last offering, ‘LUV’ (ft. Fionn Richards and Basstracks), eccentric beatmaker and lil’ heartbreaker UV Boi فوق بنفسجي is back today with ‘If He, If She’ (ft. EASTGHOST).

The second single off the incoming LUV EP, this song is too EZ on the ears. Initially hitting me with a Craig David vibe (like, if he was still cool and maybe on a load of tranquillizers), this track is very London and a nice break in the torrent of tropical house/glitch we’ve seen cascading from our speakers for the past few months. A smooth n delightful mash of R&B and downtempo electronica, this is far from a club jam for all the best reasons.

Featuring the rich stylings of the relatively enigmatic EASTGHOST, the track is an endeavour in unusual production. Our favourite UV Boi track to date, it rejects the push for bangers and emerges an audibly rich take on dance music.
