Kasbo Releases “World Away” via Foreign Family Collective

It’s pretty clear that ODESZA do not stop working. Having just wooed Australia with beautiful sets at Listen Out Festival, today the duo have unveiled the fifth release on their own imprint Foreign Family Collective – a swelling original from 19-year-old Swedish producer Kasbo.

Foreign Family Collective is “an outlet for musicians and visual artists alike curated by the duo behind ODESZA”, so you know there’s some serious faith in whatever they’re putting out. That faith isn’t misplaced at all with Kasbo, World Away is gorgeous. From pan-flutes to chopped and screwed pulsating vocals, there’s so much energy and musicality packed into three-and-a-half minutes. Producers are getting younger and younger and better and better, and World Away is evidence of that fact. It’s no surprise that ODESZA have asked him to join them on their In Return World Tour, which will only mean bigger and better things for him.

Make sure you keep it locked for all future Kasbo and Foreign Family Collective releases – no doubt they’ll keep the standard – and make sure you check Kasbo’s earlier releases, all gold.
