In the latest episode of Verses, we’ve pitted two of Australia’s best and brightest producers against each other for a death-defying round of the as-yet-unreleased game Guitar Hero Live.

Alison Wonderland and Hayden James, who both just played at Listen Out Festival, get seriously ferocious as they smash it out on screen. It’s a battle of the sexes, a battle of the axes, and a battle for bravery – watch as they taunt their digestive systems with swigs of hot sauce SO sizzling, it’s literally called “Shit The Bed”. This is all while discussing how they first met, their guitar shredding skills and more.

Perhaps the pair considered this the warm up fight: both Alison AND Hayden have been nominated for the ARIA Award for ‘Best Dance Release’, for Run and Something About You, respectively. Alison is ALSO nominated in the ‘Best Video’ category, for Prad Senanayake-directed video clip to U Don’t Know ft. Wayne Coyne. 

Guitar Hero Live will be available on October 20 on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3, Xbobx One, Xbox 360, Wii U™ console as well as iOS devices including iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
