5 songs that help shaped the new album according to Rudimental

If we’re to judge the outcome of the Rudimental ‘We The Generation’ album on what they listened to while writing it in Jamaica, you could certainly say things must got pretty interesting in the studio!

Yes, the four lads from the UK packed their bags for some inspiration abroad in the West Indies. Hell, they even did some video footage of their time there with some very special local guests.

After we found out what they grew up listening to, we took them to task and asked them to share five of tracks they listened to while setting up shop in the world’s home to reggae music ‘mahn.

Toots and the Maytals – 54-46 was number

Sizzla – just one of them days

D’angelo – Really Love

D’angelo – Sugah Daddy

Stephen Marley – Rock Stone ft Capleton and Sizzla

Rudimental will be touring Australia this December, so be sure to get all the words from their somewhat Jamaican-influenced album before you hit the event halls to party with them!
