Fresh off the set of Homeland and into the dark halls of Berghain is the way to do it according to actor Claire Danes who featured on the Ellen show recently and spoke to the host about Berlins most infamous club.

Turns out she was in town filming the fifth season of the TV thriller and happened to become a regular of the joint (especially Sundays) and shared some interesting insights including a dancing during fetish night as well as boldly claiming it’s “the best place ever”.

The interview takes a turn for the whacky when Ellen prompts Claire for a little dance lesson and some woeful cheesy music starts playing which wouldn’t help the few million watching really understand what techno is.

In her defence Claire does say she can’t dance to this as it isn’t the “Berghainy way” and then follows up with some awkward shape cutting before saying that was in fact BAD TECHNO and that you can cop some of the good stuff if you make it in which is a daunting task in itself.

We’re just wondering if anyone else noticed how tiny Ellen looks on that damn chair!
